Reading the Sunday World today about yer man who started off the lapdancing clubs in Ireland and how these girls were being exploited was one thing, then later on in page 88 in the sports section was a half page advert for honeyz lapdancing club, was astounding. The Sunday World has no problem pontificating about these clubs on the one hand and then takes money off them to advertise the place to attract more customers. The hypocracy stinks. " King Of Sleaze " the front page screamed about this fella , what does this make them? ps To the journalists of this rag. Pub Spy (p73)when you name Kerry,Mayo,Offaly,Longford and Donegal as the FOUR favourite counties for friendliness , you should use the thumb as well for counting and as far as I know, correct me if I am wrong but on page 49, Brendan O Donnell the murderer died of natural causes and not suicide as you state. Good weeks work fellas

i agree eddie. and the moral is: don't buy the sunday world. (actually, don't buy any irish paper on sunday, and don't buy the sunday times either.)

Interestingly, the inquest verdict in the O'Donnell case was one of "death by misadventure", which is not the same as dying of natural causes. http://www.ireland.com/newspaper/ireland/1997/1127/archive.97112700021.html Of course, neither is it suicide. Journalists and readers alike should check their facts.
