| | Saw a sign in the O2 shop over the weekend, 20 G iPod for 460 euro. I am sorely tempted to purchase. I'd probably use it 200+ hundred days of the year, so a euro a day seems like a fair write off over two years (right??).
So, question is, does anyone have one? Are they worth it? Do they work well with a PC? Is the battery life really an issue? Where to buy one?Should I keep my plastic in my sky rocket and wait for them to come down in price?
Is it wrong to be tempted by having 10,000 tracks in your pocket? | | | |

| | Vent, have a look at what Philips are doing in this market, there is a nifty new player just out, and they are generally good for using replaceable accessories, batteries etc.
Also, I have a JukeBox by CREATIVE and I find it brilliant. Battery life is about 16hrs per recharge. not sure how that compares but anyway, look at www.creative.com | | | |

But they are great machines all the same.
I use it quite alot for bus journeys and the like so i didnt
feel guilty shelling out the 250 pounds for it at the time

| | The iPod is a truly wonderful piece of technology. I have a 30G one and it is less than half full and contains 2,700 songs. It will take me years to fill the thing up. It can also convert songs into the AAC format which is 25% smaller than MP3 and better sound quality too.
The battery thing is not true. They have sold 2 million of them and hardly any of the first generation batch have come back with battery failure. The new ones use a new-improved battery.
I whole-heartedly recommend it but be prepared for endless flaunting of your new "baby" and constant worry about where it is when it is not in your direct line of sight.
