I don't think you need to take drugs to enjoy minimal. Well, I don't anyway. But I guess a lot of people do because it enhances the experience. If the music is good, I generally just get caught up in that. If people need to take pills as a catalyst, then that's their deal.


Quint, Ricardo Villalobos is one of / the biggest minimal techno DJs and producers in the world. He played a sold out gig to around 1,000 people on Sunday night. It was amazing.

I'd never heard of him before this, and I'd regard myself as moderately knowledgeable about dance music, liking what I'm hearing on youtube, shame I missed the gig, but decent new discovery to get me away from my usual steady diet of Bpitch Control releases for a change, nice one!
