| | The programme last night was s**te. A plumpy, spotty Sinead O'Connor singing about "Jah" (she must be hanging round with Damien Dempsey too much), some hippy chick with a nasty spot whining on an acoustic, Juno Fucking Falls with the most pretentious, Jeff Buckley rip-off dross I've heard in ages, a bunch of nordie rockers singing about joining a baptist church (wtf?!), and an oul crusty american blues dude, who in fairness was the shows only redemption - and not for his generic, repetitive blues s**te, but his inter-song banter which provided the only relief in the 40 mins of pain. | | | |

| | And was it just me, or did Sinead O'Connor look like she'd a lump of coke stuck in her left nostril? | | | |

i enjoyed seasick steve and the answer. yer woman playing the left-handed guitar, was that not some kind of like indian stone or something? a spot would have been better though.
sinead o'connor, dear-i-o, poor. going for that wee woman with a big manly jumbo guitar. she couldnt reach around to strum it right, she grated the strings strumming sideways....grrrrrate

| | Very poor programme last night. What the hell were the comical Led Zep tribute act The Answer doing there? Less said about Sinead O'Connor the better. Seastick Steve did his thing but not really my cup of tea. | | | |

I nearly cried laughing when I saw them doing that acoustic number in the laundrette. An Irishman singing in an american raaaaawk accent about baptist churches in a laundry room in Dingle. Only on RTE.
That Juno bollix should be put down for crimes against music... he's been on telly 3 times the last few weeks - Pat Kenny, Podge & Rodge and last night... and wore the same clothes every single time. He should be laminated.

| He'd be perfect for EP.
Sadly he was lured by a bigger money offer from MCD, so he's playing Oxegen. | | | |

| | Glen Hansard is on this week - I can barely contain my excitement.. especially after being fortunate enough to catch his performance on the repeated version of Tubbrity Tonight. It almost changed my life. | | | |
