This has made my day:

http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/47618-kim-deal-talks-new-breeders-album-pixies-german

http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/page/news/47454-the-breeders-return-with-imountain-battlesi

Can't believe this will actually happen. When the Pixies got back together most people were weeing themselves in excitement, but all that was going through my head was "guess this means there won't ever be another Breeders record", seeing as it took them long enough between "Last Splash" and Title TK.

One of my favorite bands ever, more so than even the Pixies.

Great news Binokular. I didn't have a chance to read through the two articles in full. Any word of a tour?

Yep, Vicar Street, April 7.

Last time I saw them it was in the Ambassador shortly after the release of title TK and it's lodged in my memory as possibly the best gig I've ever been to.
