Christ, no!! Donegal is possibly the most depressing county in Ireland - it's politically part of the republic, but looks, feels & smells like Nordieland. Though it does have Bundoran... "the seaside town that they forgot to bomb"... and Killybegs - the home of frozen battered cod! | | | |

Nordieland, zzz zzz....but we are also a milion miles away from your wanna be West Britain. Bundoran? Each year a gathering of us meet during summer solstice as the sun dips in an attempt to push Bundoran into Leitrim...we are getting closer, maybe next year!

HAHAHA!!! It's no more than Leitrim deserves!!! As for "west brits".. I agree with you there - the south is more british than it cares to admit, more american than it realises, and less european than it pretends to be, but that's modern Ireland I suppose.
