| Hi folks, first post on here and it's a long shot...
I was talking to a woman named Marie at the Chemical Brothers at this year's Picnic, then ran into her again at Alabama 3 last month then AGAIN at the Kevin Rowlands DJ set in Whelan's the other night.
Figured we'd better try and meet by design rather than by accident, she agreed. Went to ring her on Wednesday only to discover that I'm a complete IDIOT and only saved her name into my phone but not her number.
Ideal scenario would be that you ARE Marie, in which case would you PM me please? More realistic, if you know someone who's likely to fit the bill - late 20s-ish, medium height, slim build, round face, ready smile, brown hair usually worn up, was at the afore-mentioned gigs - could you tell her about this post and either you or she contact me here.
In fact, let's push the boat out completely - if you even vaguely know ANYONE called Marie (not your mother or girlfriend obviously), bounce this past them just in case.
Two reasons I'm advertising myself as a moron to the whole internet: one, the woman's given her number to a guy who says he'll ring, then he doesn't and I don't want her feeling let down on my account. Second, the whole eyes across a room thing happens seldom enough but when it's three times with the same woman and one of the rooms is a field, then you gotta figure destiny might just be trying to drop a hint.
Come on folks, this is where we find out what the Net is really capable of...
