| | I like some of Common's songs. I also like Talib Kweli, The Roots and Mos Def, i.e. rappers whose core audience seems to consist of young white men with questionable facial hair. | | | |

| I made the mistake of watching "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" on Sky recently. As Directed by Jim Sheridan. Terrible. Only amusement to be had was imagining Jim Sheridan's dialogue with 'Fiddy'.
"Ehhhhm, Fiddy, 'dis stooory remoinds me of me own dayyus growin' up on de mean streats of dubblin" etc.
Made me smile anyway. | | | |

| the guy was literally pulled from the street, he has all the credentials of an actual gangster,
drug dealer, pimp, and basically a scum bag who has been shot alot, que dr dre, and eminem to sign him, produce one good track that sold millions and suddenly the guy has a clothing line, a world tour and a wannabe in that clown the game...
i'd say he's about as authentic as you will get in gangster rap, if there is such a thing any more....
arent all rappers greedy egomacniacs? | | | |

| Heard this for first time yesterday, presuming OP was about Ayo Technology. JT and Timbaland bits are pretty cool, and the synths are deadly, but as someone already pointed out, 50 cent is a donkey.

| | To quote Hot Press' review of his latest album .. "being a millionaire, shagging women & shooting people has never sounded as boring" (quoted from memory, so it's not word for word). | | | |
