Such a seriously underrated band and I can never comprehend why. What exactly do they have to do to be as respected and loved as The Arcade Fire?! It's especially strange because everyone who has ever seen them live falls in love. That's genuinely all it takes for it to click.

Anyway, that's Electric Picnic's job.. For now, this album is perfect. So buy it!

And watch the 'making of' film that comes with it... It's hilarious and really interesting to watch it all coming together.

The Polyphonic Spree always remind me of some bizarre cult - they look like they're all on Prozac and I always expect that any minute, the singer will turn on them, David Koresh style and kill them all in a mass suicide jobbie. They can't seriously be THAT happy!

Hmmmm. I saw them at Oxegen years ago, was impressed enough to buy the first album, but it didn't do anything for me.

Wouldn't exactly be suicide then!

Hmm - you spotted the flaw in my logic (or lack of it)!!
