I, like most of the crowd there (I'm guessing) had free tickets to this show, and I'm not surprised I wouldn't have paid to see them. The Gorgeous Colours were good and Ham Sandwich were great as always, but the Switches just did not entertain me. They did suffer from bad sound at the start but I reckon the fact the lead singer was off his face and he left his jaw on the other side of the room didn't help proceedings. I thought I was leaving half way through the set but it turns out they only played for about 20 minutes, although I wouldn't blame them the lack of atmosphere alone was scaring everyone away...

From what I've heard they're pretty mediocre. I was surprised to see their album in the top 40 in my local HMV though :|

Yea, it's all the NME hype although I'm sure there is potential there somewhere....
