interesting, MCD are really pushing hard to get people on their mailing list, added competitions, the oxegen timetable etc. then again i suppose it is free advertising for them but you'd think most people interested would be on it already.

don't blame una, fella... i gave mcd a buzz this morning... the guy was annoyed that the press release went ahead - said that it hadn't been organised in time and shouldn't have happened... of course, i didn't really believe this so asked him straight out if it was just to get more people subscribed to the website... on balance, reckon it was a genuine mistake on this occasion

em, as if I would be making money, what are you on about? Just rang MCD, they said the presale was cancelled because whatever agency was behind ticket sales didn't want to go ahead. It's a drag for everyone involved, the press release should never have been sent out I guess if it wasn't definate. Admin: could you please remove the offensive comments on this post?

just to clarify my earlier post was in total jest Unkle Monkey, i think you are totally overreacting, somone just gave a useful tip-off in good faith, it just didn't come off. As someone said you can always unsubscribe, personally I find the newsletter pretty handy to get anyway.
