| | em, the Arcade Fire are nothing like the Polyphonic Spree, other than the fact that there's more than a guitarist, bass player and drummer in the band.

| | I'd say that arcade fire and polyphonic spree are in the same ballpark but playing different games. The spree are a happy, clappy band and the fire are into death and things but they bith make music on a grand orchestral scale. | | | |

| | I think the Polyphonic Spree comparison comes partly form their often very joyous and celebratory sound, but mostly cos they have a wobbly voiced front man a la Flaming Lips/Mercury Rev/Spree.
I definitely got a bit of that on first listen. But theyre SO much better! Hope they're around for a long long time. | | | |
