Subject: A new band about to kick off in Cork needs musicia

We require a bass player, synth player and a guitarist for original band about to start up in cork city. Influences def leppard, bon jovi, alice cooper, europe, kiss, nickleback, smashing pumkins, iron maiden, dream theater, sting, faith no more, mr. mister, the doors, extreme, phil collins, boston, toto, gun n roses, alice in chains, aerosmith, soundgarden, and some heavier bands like metallica, megadeth, ugly kid joe, steve vai, slayer, white zombie, nightwish, slayer, dimmu borgir and pantera. We are looking for people in their 20's upwards. People must have their own gear and be willing to pratice more than once a week. gotta admit i loved about half of those bands years ago,but the other half of the list is just awful and gives me the worst impression and makes me jump to the worst conclusion abuot whats gonna happen when this band is formed! but brilliance comes from unlikely places ! the fact that slayer are in twice is brilliant. best of luck cork city...and corkcity22

Yes, "Reign In Blood" meets "Fields of Gold" could be intriguing alright.

intriguing list indeed, the hairy metal influence might scare me off but i'd love to hear some demos if they're available online. probably the first irish band ad in 15 years to have Def Leppard as the 1st influence listed. I still think Hysteria is a fantastic album...played it to death when i was a little s**t. In fairness the only band i can say are truly awful in that list are nickleback - w**k Rock ...one less word away from being a cool ad, ah well...

Thank you for your compliments. I know it's a bit of a wierd influence but so what. Music is music lads once it's done good.
