Aye, they sound atrocious I don't think they have any artistic merit, a bit like The Darkness/Goldie Lookie Chain. Progam looks hilarious. They're come soon to an NME cover near you!

are they a real band, or a piss take? i mean are they paraded to the public as a real band when in fact they are a piss take? i went to college with a girl who though the office (when the first series aired) was real....

Fantastic album alright. I loves it! Big bottom Girls would be my favourite: "My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo. I love to sink her with my pink torpedo." Genius...

Yes, Liam Gallagher thought Spinal Tap was real, according to Noel. I like Goldie Looking Chain's first record. Towers of London look like a fake band, but they are in fact real, and they're awful. Peaches Geldof is dating one of them according to the tabs. I met them once, they were stumbling around Stringfellows in London at the time (as was I).

I'm not sure. Interview with them in the Guardian last week and they came across as a proper band talking about their concerns of the double edged sword of having their own reality program. As for Towers of London though...Boom Boom
