Well, Punchbowl, guess what? They shot Mr.Couse live in Tonic on Monday just gone so expect to see him on the box between now and Chrimbo. I'll post up the rundown each week as usual.

Tomorrow night on The Last Broadcast is a Geldof special. A big interview with the man, discussing the Live 8 planning and preparation and the gigs themselves. And also how he got Pink Floyd back together for the night. There's performances from the day too including McCartney and U2, The Who, REM, Ashcroft and Coldplay and more...

Some of the program is quite good didnt think much of the rags i have to say. Hal were good

Watch out for The Edge messing up the riff when playing 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.........a rare mistake in front of so many people, and hardly anybody seemed to pick up on it. Keeping with the Geldof theme, anybody see him getting interviewed by Gerry Ryan the other day? It was a diaster.

Yeah saw most of it. Thought Geldof was honest and articulate as usual but Ryan's a joke. Choice question of the evening was in relation to his work with Africa and poverty, etc. Ryan: "Why are you doing this?" Geldof answered him, Ryan reiterates...."But, but....why?" Geldof: "To stop people dying."

Wonder if Gedolf's gig in Vicar Street would be worth going to. He's a very convincing personality.

Heard that his gigs were were cancelled due to lack of interest. Though I could be totally wrong. Maybe it was a UK date or summat. He's very very convincing alright. What I think was cool about the interview that's on tomorrow is that he talks with equal energy and passion about music and politics/poverty. One minute he's forcefully talking about Blair and the G8, the next he's like a teenager talking about Pete Townshend bashing his guitar.

What's in store for The Last Broadcast in the future. Will it continue for another series when this one finishes?

Did anyone else feel that in-studio interview with the Foo Fighters felt like a marketing ploy to buy their new album? Grohl was using comparsions almost of 'Physical Graffiti' by Led Zeppelin. Am I missing some underlying genius with the latest Foo's album?
