We all know the vibe regarding Oasis that is abound this board, but for the price of the NME, its not a bad compilation. OASIS have hand-picked their favourite support bands from their recent global tour and put them all on ’Oasis On The Road – World Tour 2005’ – available for free with this week’s issue. The full ’Oasis On The Road – World Tour 2005’ CD tracklisting is: * The Soundtrack Of Our Lives – ‘Confrontation Camp’ * The Subways – ‘Oh Yeah’ (Live) * The Zutons – ‘Dirty Dancehall’ * Jet – ‘Get What You Need’ * The Stands – ‘Turn The World Around’ * The Coral – ‘She Sings The Mourning’ * The Bees – ‘These Are The Ghosts’ * The Futureheads – ‘Banquo’ * 22-20s – ‘Devil In Me’ * Secret Machines – ‘The Road Leads Where It’s Led’ * Yeti – ‘Never Lose Your Sense Of Wonder’ * Nic Armstrong And The Thieves – ‘Broken Mouth Blues’ * Oasis – ‘My Generation’ (Live)

22 20's - theres a band that never got half the attention they deserved. Played one of the loudest gigs ever in Whelos a while back. Audience were s**te but they still gave it socks.

That band Soundtrack of our Lives is on a Jules Holland compilation I have. The lead singer looks weird.....

I have one of their albums, which is pretty good and there's a decent acoustic session with them on the KCRW site.

I dunno man. I know a couple of fellas who are mad into them but I think they're an awful average band.

Well I wouldnt say they are outrageously good but they never really got a mention anywhere - apart from thje fact that one of them is Gaz Coombes brother. Maybe thats their downfall - ykno how these things can be. I like em tho and they were great live...the singer has a voice and a half and that thunderoous bluesy guitar wail sounded f**king great. Pity.
