Is this possibly the worst film ever made that had anything to do with the music industry? Has anyone else seen it? Excrutiatingly bad.

Nope, haven't seen it. But I thought 'Rockstar' plumbed the depths meself. Oh and another thing, saw The Incredibles last night. Its good, but its nowhere near the masterpiece its made out to be. If it was live action it would be an entertaining middle of the road action movie.

I saw a great movie on DVD the other day..... I think it was called "The Dancer Upstairs" and was directed by "John Malcovich" Pretty damn good political thriller and would highly recommend it if you can find it

True. Javier Bardem gives an acting masterclass. Check him out in the aldomovar film 'live flesh,' one of my all-time fave foreign films.

'Be Cool' is in fact one of the worst films I ever paid to see. Don't be tempted by your curiousity, pick a different film. What it did do though was ruin the credibilty of actors like Harvey Keitel, Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Danny DeVito and James Woods. Avoid at all costs.

Yep, Buba Ho'tep id a minor gem. Treat yerselves. Watched it the same night as the Motorcycles Diaries (another excellent flick), quite the contrast.

Bubba Ho-Tep is great, i nearly died laughing when i saw JFK (he's dead now actually) motor cycle diaries is also very good, i'd recommend the book too if people are into that kind of thing, (granado, the guy who went with him wrote a book too, but it's a bit more politicial) The Corporation is an amazing film too, very very good

Since we are on the subject of dodgy films, I have been watching 'Super Nanny' (C4)...ok thats a bit of a jilt...the missus watches it and I can't argue...but the nanny's methods when you boil them down are simply incarceration (in naughty zones) and deprivation (of toys). In fact, the same techniques presently being used in Guantanamo Bay, so Super Nanny is really Donald Rumsfeld in disguise. Sorry, its friday, I'm rambling.

anyone here familiar with "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane"? Made around 1989, Andrew Dice Clay is the lead, think Johnny Depp is in it briefly, some great tongue in cheek fun about the music business and being a rock and roll detective"...

Boon dock saints is another great film. Great performance by Willem DeFoe . I'd agree with bubba ho-tep.And people dispute the fact that Elvis is still alive?!!! I reckon bubba ho-tep is the only logical way Elvis' life could've unfolded...sorta...kinda...well maybe not, but it's god damn funny
