    Interesting to see Gemma Hayes come in second place when she didn't do much at all last year. The Frames still dominate things, topping the polls and Declan O'Rourke seemed to impress alot of people with his debut offering. I like how the results are layed out, beside one another. Hopefully, there will be more Irish acts have broken through by this time next year.

    yeah, totally. pity there wasn't a 'best new band' entry. i wonder which bands were listed?
