    o k i need to know how to convert .wma files to .mp3 files in my windows media player..any suggestions? cheers

    I don't think you can do it with Windows Media Player, you will probably need some kind of a plugin. Much simpler to just to search for standalone encoder software that can do it for you. Apparently dBpowerAMP (never used it myself as I can do this within my existing audio editing software already) can convert different file types including WMA and MP3 but you must download the relevant Codecs.     I would second Archie recommendation on CDex. You can download it here..... (for free) http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/downloads.php Bloody microsoft, they of course default all music file conversions to their own WMA format.... steer clear of Windows Media player.... BTW, you will find a WMA to MP3 converter here also http://www.wma-mp3.com/
