THE BONNEVILLES: The Bonnevilles are a garage punk blues duo from Lurgan, thirty miles south of Belfast – an unlikely combination, but what a result. Andrew McGibbon Junior on guitar and vocals and Chris McMullen on drums, formerly known collectively as the Motorsounds, are part of a new wave of musicians who are reinventing the blues for people who grew up with punk and grunge, with songs that are hard, angry and relevant.

THE BLACK STRANDS: The Black Strands were formed in 2009. Their dirty psychedelic sounds; tremolating fuzz and dark broodish rock n roll along with epic build ups and minutes of instrumental wah-wah goodness with glorious vocal harmonies creates an unbreakable wall of noise. They have been described as sounding like “Four Horsemen” by Aphrodite’s Child dragged through the dirt by the Irish.
