    THE CUBICAL

Introducing The Cubical, a raucous psychedelic garage blues Liverpool based five piece brimming with a wild live energy that few other bands can touch.  Their debut album, Come Sing These Crippled Tunes (recorded at Sunset Sound Studio, Hollywood and produced by the Grammy award winning Dave Sardy – Oasis, Primal Scream, Johnny Cash), was released on Dead Young Records in September 2009 and had critics all over the world foaming at the mouth. The band have spent the last few years on the road touring all over the UK and Ireland, the USA, Australia, Norway, Holland, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic building up a loyal fan base and cult following that is rapidly gaining converts by the day. Early champions of The Cubical were Mojo Magazine who named the band as “one of the coolest things of the year ”, Noel Gallagher and BBC Radio 2 DJ Mark Lamar who raved about debut single Great White Lie on his God’s Jukebox show so much that he made a point of including it as the only contemporary song on the playlist.

'An amalgamation of blues, soul, garage, free jazz and psychedelia... A truly wonderful album and a highlight of the year so far' - (Artrocker)

'If you like your rock'n'roll primal and pounding, and your vocals gritty and growly, then meet Liverpool's answer to the Magic Band' –
    (The Guardian)

“Mind-warpin’ mutated blues. Don’t let it pass you by.”
    (Shindig)

'Out of tune guitars clang and the bass and drums shuffle just right enough to raise the ghost of Willie Dixon, track down Captain Beefheart circa Safe As Milk and have a chat wtih The La's. And the singers raspy vocal might just shatter your lightbulbs' - (Mojo)

    CHEAP FREAKS

This Dublin based garage punk act have been making a stir since they started just over a year ago. Churning out a blissful blend a fuzzed out garage and some hard hitting psych rock, in their short lifetime they’ve opened for acts like the Buzzcocks and Jay Reatard. A successful tour of Germany in recent times has opened many doors in Europe for the band. Fronted by both ex-Things bassist Robbie Brady and ex-DC Pakt guitarist Al Dodd their debut 7" is out now on Big Neck Records www.bigneckrecords.com  The band are currently in the studio working on their debut album which is set for release later this year. A band not to be missed!

    THE MIGHTY ATOMICS

Formed in the summer of 2008, Mighty Atomics quickly built up a formidable reputation for their wild performances and simple, catchy rock 'n' roll.
They've knocked out audiences all over Ireland and in the UK and Germany too in their short life. With their first album in the can and released on their own DIY label Atomic Reverb Records and on Motor Sounds Records, Mighty Atomics are ready to take on all comers with a big European tour in November.
