    No, it's not the name of some new progressive indie band.  It's far worse.  A study of 5,000 kids in the UK (aged between 6-15) has shown that 5% think that Bob Geldof discovered gravity.

    Any other 'musicians' you reckon could have come up with world changing theories.  I fancy Ian Brown could have come up with evolution myself.

    Atomic Kitten discovering the Theory of Relativity? (as proposed by a guy over on the CLUAS Facebook page). Although I'd say a better chance it was Mick Jones of the Clash (during his time with Big Audio Dynamite...)

    Its not widely known, but Big Tom, from Big Tom and the Mainliners discovered Quantum Mechanics.

    "Quantum Mechanics" being a small, hard to find garage outside Carickmacross where he took the Mercedes Sprinter tour van to be serviced. No way Big Tom was paying main dealer prices on that yoke.
