Hey! Just wondering if anybody else here got the Simple Kid album? I can't get over how good it is. He's supporting The Coral this Friday in the Olympia too. Can't wait! Stevo.

There is a song on the album called Staring at the Sun and I couldn't get it out of me head for weeks. Thought I was going to go mad!

The album is great - parts of it are really derivative, but he somehow manages to make the songs his own. I went to see him in whelans and he playes a great set. Very stripped Down stuff live - two acoustic guitars , Drum machines and Harmonica was about it, but still great delivery o fthe songs. Looking forward to hearing more.

Indeed! I was at the Whelans gig myself and it was pretty cool. Very intimate. I especially like the way he had to work the drum machine himself! He usually has a band backing him but it was just himself and his brother in Whelans. Anybody have any idea why The Coral cancelled the show on Friday night?

I think we should all agree to replace the word "laryngitis" with the phrase "a dose of the Dylans", thus saving us all a lot of hot spellchecker action.
