Does anybody know any groups for music loving people in Dublin who don't know many people? Just so you can meet new people, have a drink, take in a gig and share sounds...if not perhaps one should be started?

hey i've actually never heard of anything like that,maybe you should start it.(and contact small venues about concessions on group bookings) you never know, it'd be a good way to get people in. alternatively, you could start going to small local gigs/clubs in whelans and the like a bit more.you'll probably start to notice the same heads all the time.they're good people. maybe tell this discussion board when you're next planning on going to a gig and ask if anyone would join you?

Go over to the thumped board and spend a while getting to know people there. Then go to a Ballroom of Romance gig (or gig of any of the bands there) and meet them in real life
