cheers its been a long time coming but on another subject, as i am a very provincial rock fan, i rarely get to see any of the bigger rish groups play except for the occasional outing on the hot press music awards so while i wish the jimmy cake the best i have absolutely no idea what they are like, i have never heard any of their stuff but from wat i have been told they re quite good

The whole band (now ten) will be present and sober for every gig and you can expect to see us outside of Dublin a little more often from now on.

If you want to know what the Jimmy Cake sound like, why not buy an album? As of tomorrow there will be two available to buy - 'Brains' and 'Dublin Gone. Everybody Dead'. If your local shop doesn't stock it, tell them to order it. Vital are the distributors. Also, you can hear the Cake regularly on 'Here Comes the Night', Donal Dineen's show on Today FM. I've never heard a Cork person describe themselves as 'provincial' before. You got Brains?
