Yeah, that'd be pretty cool, though I have to wonder if it's quite the same without Gillian?

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Yes! Now that would be quite something. Prekop's last solo album was beautiful, really chilled and kinda funky too.

i'd love to see Modest Mouse. I've seen wilco a few times in ireland. the First time in Whelan's just after Being There was released. it was f**king amazing and then in the Olympia after Summerteeth. We need to have WILCO back indoors in Ireland soon !!!!!!

martin finke is based in san francisco at the moment as far as i know...there was talk of a spring 06 gig at the tail end of last year but i think that was changed to a promise* of an autumn 06 gig instead shins tickets are on sale as we speak! *please note martin finke may not, in fact, have promised anything, it merely makes me feel better to allude to something more concrete than 'talk of'

Woo-hoo indeed. Saw them in Whelan's a few years ago and they were top notch. Is there a new Shins' album in the offing? There's certainly one due.

There is, due out later this year. They're playing ATP on Sunday and hopefully they'll showcase some new stuff.

Saw damien in whelans last year. brilliant gig. The support band, delorean was amazing as well. I break chairs is a great jurado album. A real rocky album compared to the others.

i missed that gig for reasons i can't recall now which is indication enough that they weren't sufficiently 'life&death' in nature to merit passing the show up.....grrrr thanks for the recommendation, i need to beef up his section in my collection
