hi everyone and thanks for checking this message... i want to give you 3 reasons why you should attend this Wednesday, 2nd October's SOUNDROOM gig being run in Da2. this is Genuine now! 1. Da2 has had some problems over the last few months with neighbours from hell - i think y'all know the story - and of course the infamous "decibel-limiter-power-cut" machine that ruined hi-rise's gig there recently. well, the lads behind Da2 have been working hard to keep their venture afloat - WE ARE ASSURED THAT ALL IS BACK TO NORMAL AND DECIBELS AINT A PROBLEM!!! i think most people will agree, that it is a great little venue. NOW is the time we need to support the venue if it is to become a fixture on the irish gigging circuit and lets face it, not everyone can afford Whelans or wishes to play in some of the less attractive venues out there. 2. SOUNDROOM is the brainchild of local up-and-coming promoter who i can personally assure y'all is committed to the music first and foremost (soundweb.ie is only the online host for SOUNDROOM info in case you are wondering). Good Honest Promoters are as important as Great Bands in the scheme of things - these are the people that get up off their holes and do something about bringing people and music together. Believe you me folks, if you saw the balance sheet on running these things you would know that nobody in their right mind would attempt to do this for any monetary gain (ya can't buy your mental health, right?!) 3. There are 3 EXCELLENT bands ready to entertain YOU for only 5 YOYO's - thats it! only 5! because to the bands, it is more important that as many people come and share in the festivities than it is to try and squeeze money out of poor students and investment bankers like yourselves. oh yeah, did i mention its only 5 euro? so, in closing - if you care - if you dare - get up the stairs of Da2 tomorrow night (Wednesday 2nd October) and admire the talent (not just on stage either)... thanks for listening, i love you guys. SOUNDROOM #3 - DA2 - OCTOBER 2ND POLAR, VINYL & LITTLE GHETTO BOYS SOUNDROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! proudly hosted online by the folks at: www.soundweb.ie - go here to join mailing list. Fair play to you for making the effort John. I've got contrary neighbours too constantly bugging me everytime I want to play a bit of music. Any tips on how to lower the decibel level in my room? (I know that sounds silly but I'm sure you understand) Hee Hee Q
