    The results of the CLUAS writers poll for the best albums of 2006 have (finally) been published. Check them out here:

    Fair play to Mr Admin and especially Daragh for putting the poll together. I'm glad to see that Simple Kid is our Irish album of the year - I remember the CLUAS review raved about it (that's not such a hard act of remembrance, for it was I who reviewed it). Arctic Monkeys is a fine if predictable choice for No. 1, but I thought Damo would have done a bit better...

    Eoghan, maybe we could contact the Arctic Monkeys and Simple Kid's record company to pass on the good news (and get some sticker-on-album coverage for CLUAS too, of course).
