Don't Fear the Reaper! Ha! I'd forgotten that one! What about Iron Butterfly's "Inna Gadda Da Vida"? I once listened to that about 8 times in row - took about 3 hours. And then of course there's Skynard's "Freebird"... My top three Bloated 70s Rock Behemoth Anthems. Plus "Hotel Califonia", natch. You got Brains?

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida brings the hairs back up on me neck. Every now and again you're liable to hear it (the even longer live version) in our little haunt but only when the engineer's gone for his tea. Er.. 1. Stone Roses - Tightrope (Second Coming) 2. Pink Floyd - Echoes (Meddle) 3. Ride - Leave Them All Behind (Going Blank Again) Actually, it's next to near impossible to pick three. So 3 (a) Orb - O.O.B.E (UFOrb) 3 (b)Johnny Cash - Rusty Cage (Unchained) 3 (c) Ten Speed Racer - Death To Disco (Eskimo BeachBoy) 3 (d) Miles Davis - So What (Kind Of Blue) 3 (e) The Electric Chairs - If You Don't Want To Fu ck Me, Then Baby Fu ck Off (?? it's on a tape) 3 (f) Black Sabbath - Swinging The Chain (Never Say Die) 3 (g) We could be here all night so that's a silly question. the stables dominick st mullingar co westmeath

That Johnny Cash cover of Rusty Cage is faaaaaaantastic as is his take on the Cave-man's Mercy Seat. The man can sing anything! I'd love to hear him do 'Can't get you out of my head', but apparently Jack L beat him to it. Now that I gotta hear! FAO Mr.Cake- I'm with you on 'Freebird'. Definitely worth an honorable mention. Please, Mr. Edison, won't you invent a machine to stop these monsters?
